Some colors, like those of a female cardinal on a grey day in January, could not be imagined, they are so subtle and soft. What luck to have the perfect background tones to set her off. Or is it that perseverance leads to success? I did have to take a few exposures to capture that inquiring look. I wonder if she knows how beautiful she is. She must. Kansas, 1/22/13.
