Brown and Grey

The combination of brown and gray sounds kind of odd, therefore I was surprisingly pleased by this image. I suppose the grays are a tad blue, and the browns a darker shade of orange. So it was a smart choice in shades.
At first I didn't like the softness of the image, as it seems as though the bird could be more sharp. But I'm finding I quite like the softness. The color scheme along with the soft lighting create a nice calming effect. The subject of course helps, as nature is always rather welcoming.
The little bud is a nice addition as well. The only thing I want to add is that the framing feels slightly tight. Otherwise, fantastic composition.
