This red tail makes a fine argument for camouflage, and had I not converted the file to monochrome, trust me, she would be even harder to see. A young hawk, I would guess, because she did not wait there long enough for the squirrels to reappear. They would never have seen her, until it was too late for one of them. But she did stay long enough to relieve herself, as the camera has captured!!!
