This is a file that I have worked numerous ways, and sold twice off the wall in the gallery downtown. Its actually the first photograph that I took when I moved to Kansas in 2010. Of course, I should have taken more exposures, and worked harder at it, but there was no light, it was bitter cold, and a storm was blowing in. You can see a few snow flakes. None the less, as I look at it more and more, it becomes a story about how I feel for the old tree, having lost its children long ago. I never met a tree I didn't love. Passionately.
