This male cardinal sang for me first three years ago, so he is at least that old. His beak shows the sign of his great age, and out of respect, I feed him shelled seed. In return, he will pose for me, in the old apple tree.

Wow, what a beautiful portrait, so clear and sharp.
This photo reminds me of a Male House Finch last year that was very old, sadly he passed away on our doorstep, we made him a grave.
