The female European House Sparrow.This one seems to have a slight overbite. Perhaps that's a Kansas variant. My intent for the while is to study these birds, because their success as a species demands more respect than they get. So she is photographed in a soft light, and a suitable tone behind her to serve as a foil for her subtle colors. Not enough beauty here? This girl might be the most well established bird on the planet, so she's confident enough to give that beauty prize to some endangered race, the cheetah perhaps, who gets plenty of my sad love and attentions, while the House Sparrow hides in plain sight.
